Hurricane Dorian has had a devastating effect on the Northern Bahamas, particularly the islands of Grand Bahama and Abaco. In Grand Bahama, the storm has significantly impacted the ability of the Public Hospitals Authority to provide care to the more than 55,000+ residents and visitors to the island and its surrounding cays. The devastation was such that patients had to be evacuated, and today the position remains the same. Our staff members have offered heroic service under the most difficult circumstances and we, the PHA Family, remain committed to once again maintaining our position as the premier health care provider in The Bahamas. Persons wishing to make FINANCIAL DONATIONS may do so by following the bank wiring instructions Above.
